MindTheGapps (A16) Updates

Optional: fingerprint config (before flashing)

To optionally set a Play-style build fingerprint, create a config file on the device before you flash.

File name

Use either:

mtg-config.txt
MindTheGapps.prop

Where to put it

The installer checks these locations in order (first match wins):

Internal storage root (`/sdcard/`)
Documents (`/sdcard/Documents/`)
Download / Downloads (`/sdcard/Download/` or `/sdcard/Downloads/`)
The same folder as the zip you are flashing

On many devices, saving from a text editor into Documents or Downloads is easiest.

Example config

# fingerprint: none | fugu | hatch | cheets | tangorpro
fingerprint=tangorpro

# props_mode: fingerprint | full
props_mode=fingerprint

Optional fingerprint override (flashable zip)

Place a config file on the device before flashing to optionally spoof ro.build.fingerprint (useful for Play certification style setups).

Checked in order (first found wins):

/sdcard/mtg-config.txt
/sdcard/MindTheGapps.prop
Same directory as the zip being flashed
Example:
